Living the life in Barra - 8th March 05
Imagine yourself lounging in a hammock, a warm tropical breeze caressing your sun-kissed skin; a tall, cool glass of pina colada in your hand, perhaps a wide-brimmed hat to shield your delicate eyes from the slight glare of the sun and you've joined the crew of Indigo Moth at the Grand Bay Hotel in Barra de Navidad!

Yeah baby, eat your heart out, it's gorgeous here!!

A luxury five-star resort nestled into the hillside, a small marina conveniently located at its base, all the amenities imaginable, three swimming pools, jacuzzis, tennis courts and of course, the essential swim-up bar. Take a water taxi to the nearby village to enjoy excellent restaurants, a little shopping and then indulge in a spa treatment or feeling energetic, rent a kayak or windsurfer and try your hand at water sports.

After spending almost six months in the scorching, arid landscape of the Sea of Cortez, one must now ask the question, why?

Besides all that though, it's been terribly hard adjusting to the resort lifestyle and we're struggling to relax. Perhaps a massage or a volcanic mud treatment will help!

At the risk of sounding smug, we'll add more soon but now it's time to saunter slowly to the pool, order a cocktail and spend a little time doing absolutely nothing!

So, if you've ever wondered what we do all day... picture this!
